PLAY SAFE, STAY SAFE

We ask that everyone is respectful of the guidelines and keeps a close eye on any future changes that may be made.

BOOKINGS:
• Clandon Regis is open for Pre-booked golf only. NO PLAYER SHOULD GO TO THE CLUB UNLESS THEY HAVE A BOOKED TEE TIME.
• The driving range and practice facilities remain closed until further notice.
• Bookings can be made using the ‘Club V1 members Hub’ App which can be downloaded to your phone or computer. Full instructions for this will be sent out tomorrow morning before the site goes live for bookings.
• If you are unable to book through the Club V1 system you may book by phoning the Pro Shop from Wednesday morning.
• In order to allow as many members as possible to play golf each player is restricted to one booking of 9 Holes per day. This is subject to availability and may be increased to 18 if possible.
• Tee times can be booked in 2 Balls only, either two members or one member and their guest.
• Any player preferring to play alone will have the ability to do so through the online booking system.
• No Visitor bookings will be taken at this time.
• Demand for golf is expected to be high, so members are asked not to be greedy when making bookings, particularly in the first week of play. Please allow all members to access their course. Those who can play midweek are asked to give time for those working through the week to book their weekend slots first. If there are gaps in the start sheet, then please feel free to book in last minute.
• All golf will be casual with no resumption of any competitions for the time being. It is hoped that in the near future some form of competitive golf will resume but it is strictly at the discretion of the Board and Captains when this occurs.

REDUCING THE TRANSMISSION OF CORONVIRUS:
• DO NOT come to the club if you have any symptoms of coronavirus
• Players should arrive at the club no more than 15 minutes before their tee time.
• Shoes should be changed in the car park. The lockers are not in use, except for temporary access to the toilets. Any members who have golf equipment in their lockers should remove it by the end of this weekend. After this time the toilets will be entered through the main foyer door and the locker rooms will be locked.
• Players must respect the 2-metre social distancing rules at all times whilst at the club, both on or off the course.
• There is a one-way system in place at the club. Entry is through the tunnel but players must leave the course either to the left of the 18th green or from the 9th by walking around the right of the road past the chipping area and practice net.
• Before going onto the course all players MUST register at the pro-shop window, by giving their name to the Professional on duty. Please respect the safety of or our Professionals and do not try to enter the pro-shop.
• If there is a queue to speak to the Pro please maintain a distance of 2 metres, just as you would when queuing at Sainsbury’s.
• Payments for guests’ fees or purchases should be made using a card.
• There will be a volunteer starter to support the pro staff and help maintain social distancing on and around the course.
• Hand sanitiser will be available outside the pro-shop and at various points around the course. Please make use of this on arrival and at the end of your round.
• On completion of your round please follow the route outlined above and leave the course directly into the car park.
• If playing late in the day please check the closure time for the gate which will be displayed by the Pro-shop.

PLAYING THE COURSE:
• Do not touch any other players’ ball or equipment.
• The flag stick must remain in the hole at all times. Pick out your ball carefully, without touching the pole. Consider using gimmies.
• The bunker rakes have been removed and the bunkers are GUR.
• All ball washers, shoe and trolley cleaning equipment are out of use.

Thank you all to your continued support during this difficult time. By working together to make golf safe we can hopefully continue to reduce the spread of the virus and speed up our return to some form of normality.
