Club President - Ian Mitchell

Golf is a game which is based on fairness, honesty, sportsmanship, competitiveness and integrity, because it is, largely, a self regulating game. It brings out the best in people and is an ideal way of making new friends, whilst enjoying healthy exercise and the outdoors.

SafeGolf accreditation

We are delighted to announce that Clandon Regis Golf Club has been awarded the SafeGolf accreditation.
Thank you to those who helped in the process which demonstrates our commitment to the standards set by the SafeGolf partnership in safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, as well as adults at risk in the sport of golf.

What is SafeGolf?

SafeGolf is a partnership of UK golf bodies committed to promoting a safe and positive environment for all those participating, working and volunteering in the sport of golf.

The SafeGolf partnership consists of members from the golfing bodies across Great Britain & Ireland and has been established to help golf respond to the issue of child protection in sport. Its mission is to safeguard the welfare of children and young people, as well as adults at risk, in the sport of golf.

SafeGolf is firstly, a website – – through which anyone with a concern about the welfare of a player, or the behaviour or practice of a coach, volunteer, organiser, parent or a player, can contact the lead safeguarding officer at their national governing body.

Secondly, it is the safeguarding standard England Golf will promote to all their affiliated clubs to ensure all clubs provide a safe and positive experience to children and young people whilst playing golf. The PGA are also using the standards to apply to all their PGA professional Coaches.

Club Diary 2021

We've gone paperless....

CRGC 2021 Club Diary

It has been decided that we will not be producing a hard copy of the club diary for 2021. We will however be able to offer an enhanced online version for you to access.

Due to the extenuating circumstance over the last year, the game of golf and how we play has been re-worked a little and sometimes competitive golf has had to take a back seat. Unfortunately we are still in slightly uncertain times and a decision was made that any information we provided to the printers could be instantly out of date before the first copy was even published.

As such we have introduced access to the CRGC 2021 Diary so that members can integrate CRGC events into their own personal calendar on their smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop. The CRGC 2021 Diary is also published on the CRGC website and will continue to be available for those members who do not use a diary on a personal phone/tablet/laptop.

With the level of change impacting us, this facility will enable section owners to keep the diary up to date and improve members’ awareness of golfing and non-golfing events at the club.

We are now providing instructions for enabling this access via links (URLs) according to the type of device and calendar that you are using.

The new facility will provide:

• access to the live CRGC calendar (shown on the CRGC website)
• integration within own personal calendar
• choice of preferred sections e.g. men’s, ladies etc
• sections which can be switched on and off if required
• hyperlinks to HDID for booking into competitions
• published list of owners for each section and sub-section
• access to rules for competitions in the event (coming in 2021)

You will still use the Club V1 Members Hub to book casual games and to sign up for competitions.

A full calendar of events is still also available on the club website as always and this is the same diary feed so is completely up to date.

For more information or to have access to the CRGC Fixtures into your personal calendar please contact and she will be able to send you the relevant document with links to the section calendars & video tutorials.
